Valentines and the week before!

Happy Valentine's Day! Or what I like to call happy let's make single people feel shit day!

Febuary so far has been great! I've done two weekends at my new job and loving it!!
Very special evening a couple weeks ago, met up with a few of my fellow cf and post double lung transplant ladies! Was really excited and to finally meet holly! It was lovely! We had lots of chats and giggle and we all freaked out after having ordered a few cocktails finding out after they some contained egg white haha but we all survived! We went to a secret hidden little a restaurant/bar called the pig something haha in solo! I'm not really a london person but it was very quirky and loved it!

Sharon, Veronica , me, holly and Ashley!
All had double lung transpalnts within the last 2 and half years! And Ashley is the newbie as most of you know!

Before we met with the girls, Veronica and I took a little visit to foulis ward at the Brompton as it was on the way to say hey to a few old faces!
So many people have left and most people didn't reconignise me when I stood next to Veronica until they clicked! Haha we got a cheeky Photo in vivs office haha

:)
So yep started my first day of work last weekend and it was so good! It's so nice to get back into work again and feel like a normal person after such a long time! I feel so enthusiastic about it all and just want to get stuck right into it! The people I work with our so lovely too and Obvs my bestie tor is training me along with my lovely manager! Very lucky to have to work with lovely people!!

Finished that weekend with a lovely walk around Virginia waters with mum Hannah and holly and obviously our doggys Mason and beau! Little beau was exhausted after the 5 mile walk, he's a tiny Yorkie and by the time we got to the pub for lunch he was almost asleep!

Was featured in my local magazine called darling, issue Feb-April :) great little article and good awareness!

Right for the best news! So proud of my beautiful friend Veronica! This week she moved into her gorgeous little house in Woking! Helped her move, well I carried a few boxes haha and set up her wifi! The most important things obviously! And her mummy made me a yummy fry up on the day!
Then Saturday the 13th was the most important day and a massive achievement!!! It was Veronica's 1 year lung anniversary!!! This is a massive deal, the first year is Alwaya the hardest and the most dangerous for transplant patients!
All new changes to the body so to get to a year with hardly any problems and no rejection is brilliant!
To celebrate as I was working the Saturday I booked, the day before for us to do an indoor sky dive together at airkix in Basingstoke!
It was one of the best things we have ever done and we had such a laugh together!! I read up online before that kids have special super hero outfits so we waited for everyone to get there's and then asked our instructor Jimmy if we could have one and would they fit (Obvs me as I'm child size) but wanted one for miss lady v! And we did she got batman and I was super man! It was hillarious!! And my mum came along to watch and get piccys! We also got a video of the flights which I will upload to YouTube and share on here!
But here's some piccys
And some of us in action...

Such geeks! Haha

I also made an attempt at doing a lungs cake for her! This is how it turned out!!
It could have been worse I suppose and apprantly it taste good! Done red velevrt as we have nice healthy pink lungs now! Keep in theme!

Then that afternoon celebrated a nice birthday lunch for my auntie Pam!

My mum and Pam!

Graham Tony and me!

Tony still in Harefield so we have adopted him into our family now!  :) tony had his transplant two months before means finally he's doing his best now after 8 months! If you read my blog you know I've mentioned him in the previous post!
I'd say these lungs of ours are doing a good job!! Healthy trannys now haha

So finished off this weekend at the British gun show in Coventry with lee for valentines!
Got to say I was dreading it, and thinking this is the most in romantic valentines eve! But wanted to go as lees been so good to me! And he got me a lovely dkny bag and purse as an early valentines pressy so I can't complain! Anyways turns out I had the best day ever!! I got to use a few guns and shown how to shoot! I spent on our an hour with puppies and watching gun dogs to treaks and how they are trained! Then we went into the kennel club building after and watched a little show of cocker spaniels and these other dogs that look like greyhounds but have long hair, like girl length long hair! So all I all the best day!! Plus was nice to spend some time with lee! We haven't for a while and we love a little road trip together!

So yeah little catch up in sprogs life!

Mucho loveo
